Why Online WHMIS

Online training provides consistency while allowing flexibility. Training can be provided 24 hours a day, therefore as a company, or you, as an individual, can take your WHMIS course at your convenience. You can organize your day and choose when you will take the training.

You will find this WHMIS course ‘self-paced’. If you are a learner with experience in safety subjects, you may be able to go through this course rather quickly. If this is your first introduction to WHMIS, the pace can be slow, steady and meet your unique learning needs. You don’t have to go at an instructor’s assigned pace.

This training may be done at work, during your off time, or from the comfort of your own home.

Online learning can also lead to an increased retention and a stronger understanding of the subject, as it has something for all learning types. You will be reading, listening and completing quizzes during this WHMIS training. You can also replay sections of the training that you feel you need to review.

For employers, it will allow you to plan blocks of time for training, as well as use unexpected down time in a productive and cost efficient manner.
